Netwerkpro Foundation was founded in 2015, and active national and international. Our goal is to create an autonomous future for women.
The mission of Netwerkpro is to empower (migrant) women through innovative methodologies, thereby contributing to social cohesion and
sustainable integration. Since 2015 we have guided over 2100 women towards activation, participation and/or work. We offer training programs that are built on empowerment training, matching with a personal mentor and working experience internships – with the prospect of a paid job or entrepreneurial activities. The trajectories take 4-6 monthsand are modular, meaning that depending on the needs of each group, we build a suitable training program. Our empowerment training, always given in groups, focuses on soft skills, goals and qualities at the start and develops into a professional skills training after. Peer groups, formed by women from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, create a safe space for participants. The women motivate and support each other, often resulting in long lasting friendships. Many ex-participants become ambassadors for Netwerkpro: they coordinate groups, act as role models or become personal mentors. We work closely together with local employers and together we design trajectories where women can learn specific professional skills in the last phase of the program. Employers experience the benefits of an inclusive and diverse team. Our partnering employers w rk in branches with a lot of opportunities
and a conti uous need for new employees, like health- and childcare retail an the service industry. We have a core team of 5 members: Arine Huijboom is the founder and director. A program manager and two project leaders are responsible for national en international projects. Besides that, we work with approx. 20 certified professional trainers and local coordinators on a freelance basis and a network of over 450 volunteers, who work as mentors for our participants. We are in close contact with all municipalities in our working areas and our European partners. Netwerkpro is often their first choice for programs leading towards (labour market) participation and integration. Within the EU project NWP is often a project leader in several or an esteemed partner. At the same time, municipalities support our activities and
play an important role in expanding our regional networks.
